I made this propagation station for fellow plant lovers who enjoy watching their cuttings grow roots.
The wooden stand features two frogs tucked into a woodland scene of ferns and mushrooms, creating a playful little habitat while your plants propagate. Two glass test tubes hold your cuttings and make it easy to change the water when needed.
Like all of my work, the color comes entirely from the natural wood. I don’t use stains or paints — the contrast you see comes from carefully selecting different species of hardwood and letting their natural tones do the work
For this piece I used walnut, mahogany, maple, cedar, and poplar to create depth and warmth in the design.
Each propagation station includes two glass test tubes that are perfect for rooting plant cuttings such as pathos, philodendron, or other houseplants.
Because natural wood is used, every piece will have its own unique grain patterns and color variation.
